Timeliness of BPA proposals
It is impossible to create a modern system of power supply of power engineering facilities and industrial enterprises without operating DC voltage systems (ODCVS). The crucial need in updating and re-equipment of electricity generation facilities, as well as introduction of new powers, requires application of reliable uninterrupted power supply systems in compliance with contemporary operation requirements. The primary field of ODCVS application is uninterrupted power supply of the sites of moderate and large capacity in power production (substations of 110-750 kV), objects of communication and telecommunication, oil and gas sectors of industry.
The monitoring system (continuously monitoring system of parameters of power electric equipment (CMS)) generally represents a subsystem of automated process control system of substation.
Modern systems of CMS allow detecting defects in operation of power transformers and other equipment of substation at the early stage of their development. Due decision-making on liquidation of defects prior to emergency situations not only prevents significant damage, but also reduces the downtime, costs for repair and prolongs the service term of transformers.
BPA is an active participant of all processes: design, agreement, assembling, adjustment and maintenance service. Internal production powers of BPA allow implementation of individual effective technical solutions for any requirements of the customer in a short run.
Gas power production in Russia undergoes the large-scale update and construction of new combined cycle gas turbine units (CCGT) and gas-turbine power plants (GTPP) of various capacity. BPA professional team makes its own contribution. The projects implemented by BPA LLC are individual in their engineering relation. As a rule, the customer and general contractor set certain requirements, related to the quality of original gas and conditions of operation of GTPP. Strict compliance with these requirements, search and introduction of original technical solutions bring distinctiveness and uniqueness to each project. Though all projects are uniform in the following: complex site tests of the equipment, minimum scope of works from the part of the customer, full automation of engineering processes, high qualification of service engineers.

The fact that by today over 180 plants and units of preparation and implementation of processes and works have been introduced into operation or being prepared for commissioning at various enterprises and production fields, is an important result of long-term cooperation with such manufacturers as Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Schneider-Electric, ABB, Honeywell, Foxboro, Triconex. Transport
BPA LLC has solid work experience in the projects for organization of recording and control of the received or shipped raw materials with the purpose of information transfer to the head station of the enterprise and to the central dispatcher unit of production. The share of off-plot facilities that provide uninterrupted and safe operation of primary engineering production plants in primary and processing industry in the scope of the enterprise may make up to 60% of the total area and occupy significant areas, and the cost of their construction exceeds 40% of the total cost of the plants. At the newly constructed enterprises double-side discharge jetties, where reservoirs are equipped with bottom casing necks, connected pressure-tight with the unit for bottom discharge (filling) are designed for raw material acceptance, possibility of flow for tank loading is considered, and the projects provide for independent access bridges with upper and bottom discharge, separate access bridges may be designed to be divided from the others and equipped with separate collectors, pipelines, discharge and filling devices and gas equalizing systems for each type of the filled and discharged raw material. Standards of engineering design do not regulate the volume of component reservoirs, giving the right to solve this task to BPA design engineers.
Oil refinery plants, located near large rivers, send a part of their products by water in the navigation season. Special terminals are constructed for filling. Such peculiarities of work implementation by BPA LLC were considered in one of the projects – at design of the storehouse for acceptance, storage and shipment, as well as automated process control system and ESD of the terminal, terminal methanol handler in the town of Azov of the Rostov region.
